Chicago The Band @ The Grammy Museum

Reporting for Yucaipa Patch and Citizen Journalists United this evening at the Grammy Museum in DT LA, Three members of one of the most famous rock bands in American history, Chicago, were on hand tonight for a special show ahead of their new documentary to be released on Sept 30Th on a streaming service near you, ‘The Last Band On Stage’…With introductions by Jimmy Jam, and hosted by Actor Joe Montegna, the guys delivered a nice Q & A show, with Robert Lamm, Jimmy Pankow, and Lee Loughnane going thru the history of the band, the inspiration behind the songs, and answering a variety of questions from the fans in the audience…The show opened with some clips from the new documentary, and Joe Montegna was excellent as the narrator between the band and the crowd...One of the producers of ‘Chicago’ was in the audience, and he invited the band on to the show! We also received two 55Th Anniversary Concert Tour Programs, And there was a raffle where several winners received the Chicago hardcover book…Thanks to the Recording Academy for the last minute Press Passes!
