So Cal’s Best E.J. Tribute Rocks The YPAC

Entertainment Review: Kenny Metcalf as Elton & The Early Years Band Tribute, Live at the world famous YPAC (Yucaipa Performing Arts Center) Tonight, 9.23.23…Wow, a spectacular concert this evening here in Yucaipa, CA! Kenny, Larry Hampton, and the rest of the group rocked this sold out crowd tonight, with not only all the big hits, but also they performed some rarities and deeper cuts that the band does not always do…The 9 minute long version of 1971’s ‘Levon’ was incredible, and at one point Kenny got up and even played Drums - Something that I have never seen him do before - And I have been covering him for the Press since 2010…This unbelievable band simply never gets old, it’s one of the best in the business here in America - And Southern California, Thank God that we live here, where the fans can see them several times per year! Show Grade: A+
